Allergens and special requirements

  • Before placing your order, please inform Rutland Cakeaway if you suffer from any allergy or intolerance. It is your responsibility to provide this information to us. Notwithstanding this Rutland Cakeaway does not guarantee that your food or other products are free from allergens. All our products are prepared in a kitchen where nuts are present and some recipes contain nuts.
  • We offer gluten-free products but you must specify when ordering if you require gluten-free as some of our puddings are available both gluten-free and not.

If you think you may have a food allergen or intolerance we recommend you seek medical advice. More information can be found on the NHS website.


  • Payment can be made by card, PayPal, or cash on delivery. All payments to be in pound sterling. Please have correct change available where possible, as our drivers only carry a small amount for security reasons.

Delivery Estimates

  • We endeavour to get your order to you within an hour of you placing it, but please note that at exceptionally busy periods this may take up to 90 minutes. We will contact you if there are any delays with your order. If you have specified your order for a certain time we will do our best to honour the request, but please be aware that we cannot guarantee a specific time due to other factors such as traffic, demand and weather.

Cancellations and amendments

  • If you would like to amend an order you have already placed, please contact us by phone as soon as you can and we will do our best to change it for you. If your order is already out for delivery we will be unable to do so, but you are free to make additional orders.
  • If you would like to cancel your order, get in touch with us by phone immediately as we are unable to cancel orders where food preparation has already taken place.


  • If you are unhappy with your order then please don’t hesitate to contact us. Please get in touch with us via phone or email and we will be more than happy to resolve any issues for you.


  • You may only order items containing alcohol if you are at least 18 years old.
  • By ordering, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and are legally permitted to purchase alcohol. ID may be requested on delivery and if not shown, you may not receive specific items in your order.
  • If you place an order, we may contact you to clarify details or update you on your order’s progress, please be aware that if these calls or messages go unanswered we cannot always deliver your order until we have spoken to you.
  • All products are subject to availability. If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil an order we will contact you to let you know and discuss alternatives.
